As a child my mother always told me that I should never lie and that lesson has pretty much stayed with me all my life! I’m a really bad liar! You can catch me just by looking into my eyes! But there is one lie that is acceptable on some occasions and that’s the White Lie, the one you say to avoid hurting someone’s feelings. The CC Portable collection is full of lovely little harmless white lies in the hidden details or the faux suede and the flexibility of styling.
The joy of choosing your wardrobe is in expressing your various personalities or hiding some details for you to enjoy inside your clothing that no-one else knows are there. Luxury fabrics to be worn effortlessly. Our little harmless white lies!
This season our trouser suit comes in a no fuss classic masculine wool gaberdine with a little stretch in a vibrant yellow, royal blue or chocolate brown. Don’t be fooled though a white lie has been told… look inside and you’ll find feminine prints in the details that you can pair with matching printed shirts.
Our much asked for faux suede blazer comes in a limited amount in a lovely honey or tobacco brown faux suede or if you like to go a little step further; this year Claire has made a beautiful real Italian nappa or soft suede version of our best selling Borgo blazer made to order. You'll find a stretch nappa shirt that comes in black only (my rock chic wanna be!). Look out for our collaborations too, we have a wonderful one of beautiful cashmere capes and long vests or little winter dresses all embellished with beautiful soutache or embroidery created in collaboration with the lovely Daniela that we’ll tell you more about further on.
